An annotated bibliography is basically a list of citations to books, articles, and documents that you used in your paper. However, each citation is

followed by a brief (usually about 150 words) descriptive and evaluative paragraph, the annotation. The purpose of the annotation is to inform

the reader of the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the sources cited and how this source used in the paper. Thus, an annotated bibliography

has two main parts: 1) the citation of your book, article, document and 2) your summative and reflective paragraph (which is called an

annotation).
