SDLC
SDLC stands for System Development Life Cycle is very important in order to develop composite computer system. This helps the team members of the project to work together in order to find proper solutions and also to meet all company’s business needs and attain customer satisfaction. It would be difficult to execute the project without the SDLC because it assists to attain balance between the computer system expertise and cost effectiveness. This also provides a group of steps that offer a model to develop the application or software. Organization’s business requires activation of the SDLC process while measuring the system functions (Roebuck, 2011). The following goals have to be achieved by using SDLC methodology:
• As per requirements of the client there should implement efficient systems.
• Should provide a platform for developing the quantitative and periodic systems.
• Roles and responsibilities should be assigned to all different departments.
• All requirements and documents should be achieved for clients.
The two most usually utilized software development methods are the waterfall model and the agile model (Mishra, Dubey, 2013).
SDLC model:- The systems development life cycle (SDLC) is a conceptual model used in project management that describes the stages involved in an information system development project, from an initial feasibility study through maintenance of the completed application (Roebuck, 2011).
V-model:- The V-model represents a software development process (also applicable to hardware development) which may be considered an extension of the waterfall model. Instead of moving down in a linear way, the process steps are bent upwards after the coding phase, to form the typical V shape. The V-Model demonstrates the relationships between each phase of the development life cycle and its associated phase of testing. The horizontal and vertical axes represents time or project completeness (left-to-right) and level of abstraction (coarsest-grain abstraction uppermost), respectively (Murugaiyan, Balaji, 2012).
