In the movie Blade Runner Dr.Eldon Tyrell is a remote and God-like individual who represents corporate greed, ambition and the willingness to sacrifice morality and humanity. In the film Dr. Tyrell attempts to create a Trans humanism being called a Replicant, Replicants are made perfectly like human beings through a well-done “skin job and genetic engineering, they can demonstrate the abilities to perform and work like humans. These Replicants are made to be stronger, faster and smarter than the average human being. Tyrell uses the quote “More human then Human” to explain a more Trans humanism evolvement in the year 2019.

The significance of the Moto “More Human than Human” as it relates to the retirement of the Replicants. In the film Dr. Tyrell states that “a lite that burns twice as bright burns half as long”. As the replicants have more and more sophisticated with each generation, the lines between them and the actual human beings become distortional , the Replicants are so much more advanced through science a life span of four years was place in them to prevent the Replicants from developing their own emotional responses. In the film the Replicants are systematically “retired” but not killed since they are not considered Human.  The Replicants were considered emotionally unstable the longer they live, they had already mutineer at a mining colony and were believed to be getting progressively dangerous to the public at large as they neared their life-span limit. I feel that the human felt that the replicant were a threat to the human race and had to be eliminated due to fear of a possible takeover of mankind.

In the film Blade Runner it was a symbolic comparison between The American slave trade in the 18th 19th century and the fictional replicant business. Slave traders and owners believed that slaves did not deserve the same human rights as white American and thus treated then like lesser beings. Similarly, in the world of Blade Runner Replicants are treated like lesser beings despite the fact that they have the ability to develop the same emotions as real human beings. The Salve trade was a commercial enterprise. Many justified this practice by stating that the African slaves were not as mentally or emotionally sophisticated as their white counterparts; which somehow justified them being shackled and controlled.  Slave owners devised different kinds of tactics to oppress their slaves and keep them under control just as Dr.Tyrell has implanted fake memories in the Replicants.

In an age where technology surrounds and influences humanity one most consider whether technology is changing how we think, feel and act. The influence of technology on humanity is affecting all market sectors whether private or public. The intersection of technology and the human network is disrupting old business models, organizational theories and beliefs systems systems founded in old knowledge.  Humanity has evolved from the essence that separates humans from beast, the ability to use the mind for reason. Reason is the ability to analyze, create, deduce and formulate. It is reason that enables human beings to strive to invent; it is through invention that mankind has developed society and created a better world. With Technology problem and potential usually go hand in hand; but the problems can be turned into opportunities. What is it to be a Human being? In order to understand this question you need to be able to recognize and conceptualize the human condition. Technology has always influenced and constituted human nature and its existence. Social technology is permeating everything in our lives. It seems that every medium or media has integrated social into message.
