I attached the outline, follow it. And please include diagrams and photos.
Important!! Follow the 13 steps of system engineering process:
Final term papers should be an orginal work from just you, roughly 10-15 pages (with diagrams, photos, etc.) completed in accordance with the written assignment requirements in the Start Here folder. Separate from your group presentation this will be a paper analyzing your project subject, and following your abstract and outline (making sure to check any comments I had about the abstract and comments). The paper will analyze the subject by going through each step of the systems engineering process. The point of the paper is to demonstrate that you understand the material in the textbook and lectures by using them in the paper - please make sure to do that. Make sure to not "shoot from the hip" and make the paper an opinion piece, make conclusions and analysis and use the course material as reference. Include references to the book and to any outside sources you used in your paper. Use photos, diagrams, or other visuals as makes sense. As no engineering failure has all of the technical information available, feel free to make some educated guesses as to what happened with regard to various steps of the systems process.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Phone Disaster
Abstract
The tech industry is one of the most competitive industries in the world and since it has many players, survival and competitive advantage is only achieved through continuous innovation that leads to the release of new products year and after. This year was not good for the Samsung Company together with its loyal customers as one of their sophisticated products the Samsung Galaxy Note kept blowing up as the users were charging them, causing a series of disasters across the world. This send panic across the globe to all customers who owned the phone as they did not know what the issue was. Samsung realizing the pattern was forced to recall all these new phones for system checking. In this topic, group focus will be to look at the crisis in detail and what Samsung is doing to rectify the situation despite the losses they are recording. I will also look at the Samsung’s System engineering process to help identify where it failed and how the crisis happened.
