The CEO's vision and overview of 2009 performance
The new CEO of the Harley-Davidson's company, Keith Wandell is the one of the highly recognized and well seasoned global leaders.
His vision for the company as indicated by the remarks that he made after he was appointed id to create products that are innovative and leading in the market and widen the opportunities of the organization to a global arena.
The company recorded a revenue of $4.29 and an income of $70.6 million after it had recorded a loss of $147.2 million on the last quarter due to difficult economic condition.
The new CEO of the company is very passionate, committed and determine in the operations of the company and he is very well suited for the organization.
In the year 2009, when the new CEO was appointed the income of the company fell mainly due to prevailing difficult economic conditions in the country.

The company is known for having a very excellent corporate governance culture and this is the reason behind the success of the organization.
The company's leadership is made up of a wide range of leaders from different industries who meet very often to discuss business objectives and the future of the business.
The kind of organization structure used by the organization is the employees driven structure where employees are highly involved.
The organization is a good example of a company that highly values corporate governance since it is taken seriously.
The organizational structure of the organization over the years has undergone changes from being a command control decision making structure which hindered growth to an employee driven structure.

The main brand that the company owns are:
Motor cycles: Manufacture high quality motor bikes depending on the needs of the consumers for example they offer female differentiated from the male bikes.
Motor cycle accessories: they offer spare parts for their motor cycle brands.
Other products include helmets, merchandise, watches, clothing attire, mugs as well as collectibles.
This company has a very wide array of brands with their main speciality being in motor cycles and motor cycle part and accessories.
They however also offer other small brands to broaden their market.

Key corporate goals and objectives such as new products, new markets, and new customers
The company aims at acquiring bigger market share especially in three markets that is United States, UK and Japan by making use of market penetration strategies such as advertising.
The company also aims at expanding their products and developing new products for the younger generation and also the females as a new segment of the market.
The company aims at expanding its product market by use of market penetration strategies and also expand their product market by targeting new customer segments such as the females and the younger generation.

Total Revenues in 2009 and Net Profit in 2009
As earlier mentioned, the company recorded a revenue of $4.29 and an income of $70.6 million after it had recorded a loss of $147.2 million on the last quarter.
This record was a drop of income for the company which lead to a loss of $0.63 for every share.
This drop in income was as a result of a recorded drop in shipment by 53. 1% (Davidson 2009).
The year 2009 recorded a very difficult economic year and this highly cost the company due to the restructuring of their cost which affected their profitability.
