Overview
The main purpose of the project is to add easiness in the life’s basic need that is acquiring the affordable house. The designed project is not just meant for the people who purchase ownership of the house, but also who seek comfortable life in rented housing. Low-income people of the city hardly meet their living requirements and acquiring a house at affordable prices is still a dream of many people. Their dream can be turned into reality through integrated method. Such project will render high cost due to fits requirement needed to conduct of the construction, marketing, and verification processes.
The nonprofit organizations and government subsidies like Community Development division, Affordable Housing Trust Fund and so many other sources of endowment can create pathways for citizens to live peacefully and enhance their livelihood within the limits of their affordability. The diverse number of institution have to work together as team and these will include members likes, banks for utilizing their services of accounts where credentials of the house owners will deposit along with amount, non-profit and profit oriented organizations because non-profit organizations will provide funds and profit oriented will give their services in constructing the buildings and marketing firms enabling the project to reach participants through proper specific information and government. The government will play the vital role in enabling the project to meet the objectives and goals (Affordable Housing Project Request For Proposals, 2016).
Introduction
People want to live peacefully in their four walls by considering a home. But the housing prices are so high that citizens not only make effort in changing their high rented house and not even make intention purchase their own house. The problem also lies in the house providing systems that have always aimed at benefiting their own self and irrespective of participant's affordability. The housing systems also make bulky installments systems due to which people avoid purchasing new and heavy advanced deposit which goes beyond the imagination of rented houses.
This project will create opportunities for the people who desperately want to have their own house or rented the house at affordable prices. People with low income cannot afford good houses and the locality where they want to live. The project will enable the chance for low-income people to have rented a house in better society or to own a house forever.
In order to acquire the house, both category participants have to meet different needs. For owing the house the participant’s will be asked AMI below 80% of their income for single family whereas housing cooperatives are required to create AMI below 60% income. The CCD will be considering the maximum limit of $60, 000 per unit. A smaller amount from AHTF 85% will be invested in the required cost. For rented housing participants are required to create below 60% of their incomes and its rent will not exceed the 30% of their gross income along with utilities. The CCD investment per unit will remain same like in owning the house. Whereas AHTF procedure will also remain same like in owning the house (Affordable Housing Project Request For Proposals, 2016).
Goals and Objective
Providing housing facility is not an easy job it requires a huge effort in granting eligibility of the owner. The following criteria are necessary to meet.
A. The problem arises in settling the housing schemes for low-income people when their eligibility is not judged properly. The participants have to meet loan terms and funding limits. Loans are limited up to the 50% of total development cost, loan terms include issuance of loans with Land Use Restriction under registry deed (Housing-Economic-Development, 2016).
B. Participants are wanted have a healthy life due to the surroundings, this can be enabled through the pollution free environment. There will be no such sound pollution, the factory near or any other health giving hazardous. Therefore, schemes designed to fund more to a healthy community can be accomplished. If such funds are denied the participants may also suffer (Enterprise, 2016).
C. Goals
· The affordable, clean city for low-income people,
· There will be housing opportunities without discrimination
· The new city will allow low income to at least have a home.
In order to meet these goals, there will be a proper assessment of every individual and organization connected through various ways (Box, 2016).
D. All decisions will be made through the policy guidance registered with the government and to the organizations that provide funds for the project. Every policy will be designed within the business ethics boundaries.
