Interconnec Truck Service Inc. established in Fourche North Dakota, in 2012, is dedicated to providing more secure and reliable transportation services to and from North Dakota, South Dakota, St. Louis, Tennessee, through Chicago on full and one truckload. We provide transportation services for goods and equipment for both individual clients or a company. In the line of transportation, we lease our trucks and provide professional drivers to organizations or individuals no matter the project.

Problem statement

Most of the companies or people have occurred unrecoverable losses, through unreliable transport services. The assurance of reliability and security in the transportation industry is not a guarantee. Therefore with many of the risks involved in the transport industry, it is good to have a trusted service provider. Transport services provider that respects your privacy, time and accountable for any inconveniences that may occur is at times hard to come by.

Business solution

Provide both secure and reliable transport service across all needs and platforms to meet each and everyone’s needs in the sector of the carriage. Also to reduce the risks involved in the transportation services and increase accountability and trust among our clients. Interconnec Truck Service understands the challenges and is willing to take an extra mile of safety.

Target market

Interconnec Truck Service Inc. has a market target of all the organizations and individuals who need transportation services from one location to the other. Transportations include both long distance and short distance. We target clients within the United States of America and Canada.

Marketing strategy

At Interconnec Truck Service Inc.al of our staff and employees will are indirectly or directly involved in marketing and sales of the company. In one of the strategies is to create a provision for the employees, for them to earn a commission each time they bring in a new business or client to the organization. Apart from the employees, we will also encourage any willing individual to work with us as a freelancer to bring in more clients (McQueen, & McQueen, 2012).

We will leverage on using media in the form of advertisement, in both offline and online platform. This is to ensure that we reach out as many possible clients as we can. Rewarding our loyal customers is another strategy, the customers can be later encouraged to refer us to their friends.

ITS plans to adapt the following marketing and sales strategy in sourcing for new clients into our services;

• Use of media to advertise the business. This can be through radio, magazines, and newspapers and on TV

• Attend and create expos and seminars or even business fairs

• Use of the internet to promote the business

• Direct marketing

• Create promotions like free delivering of goods for our members and offer different packages of our services.

Business model

Our main business models are the provision of lease of our trucks and services to various companies and provide transportation services for small scale businesses and individuals at an agreed price on the distance and weight and nature of the cargo.

Pricing model

Interconnec Truck Service Inc. has some lease agreements with many companies around the United States. The lease agreement and the company’s pricing are based on the distance and tons of cargo being transported. In our pricing model, we charge depending on competitive rates, due to the high demands of our services. On individual customers, we leverage on our prices to a negotiable and affordable level.

On payment policies, we do not accept in a transaction with cash due to the volume of money that is involved. The following are the payment methods that are accepted at ITS.

Our competitors are the well-known companies offering the same services like our, for example, the Harbor Freight Transport.

Competitive advantage

The major competitive advantage of our company is the vast experience we have in the transportation industry, and the good reputation we have built for ourselves through our services.

Another competitive advantage of our organization is that we have created our business ion a way that is comfortable and convenient to any client who may need to use our service, be it for domestic use or commercial use. Hence our business offers a variety of options and services in the transport industry that some of the companies don’t have.

We also take good care of employees regarding wages, which for a fact is the best so far in the industry. Apart from good salaries, we also include welfare packages and offer both maternity and paternity leaves for our employees (Gattis, 2010).

Customer savings

By subscribing to many of our service packages, which depends on the distance coverage in miles and the weight of tons to be transported. One can save a lot by selecting the package that fits your needs. On service leasing, the packages vary depending on the duration of lease and number of trucks and any required labor. Our service packages vary according to our customer needs.
