READ THE ENTIRE PROBLEM BEFORE BEGINNING TO DEVELOP THE SPREADSHEET.

Be sure to follow all instructions.

Hair Care Extraordinaire (HCE) is a company that makes five types of hair care products: shampoo, conditioner, mousse, brushes, and combs.

At the beginning of each month, HCE sets a sales target for each product at 10% more than the sales of the previous month. Throughout the month it compares actual sales for that month with the target and assesses performance by calculating the difference between the actual sales and the target (that is, how much more is needed to reach the target) and by calculating the percentage of the target realized by the actual sales.

HCE also calculates commissions paid to its sales force, which is currently set at 5% of sales. Here is a sample of HCE's September 2016 monthly report for two of its products:

Your task is to create an electronic spreadsheet that reports on sales for September 2016, given the following data:

Macintosh HD:Users:zhangxinyuan:Desktop:屏幕快照 2016-10-03 下午1.44.49.png

Place a total row beneath the five product rows. Hint: Be careful calculating the "% of Target Achieved" for the total row.

Use formulas and/or functions to perform all necessary calculations. When creating the spreadsheet, be sure to copy cell formulas rather than entering similar formulas many times (for example, you can use the autofill handle to copy cell formulas). The spreadsheet should be designed in such a manner that it would be easy to add additional products by copying cell formulas.

Make sure that it is easy to change the commission rate and the target percentage for growing sales, which should both be placed above the sales analysis table.

You will want to use the sample above for SHAMPOO and CONDTIONER to verify that you are interpreting the assignment and performing the calculations correctly.

Be sure to use the first few lines at the top of your spreadsheet for title/heading information. Include the company name, a name for the report (e.g., "Monthly Sales and Analysis Report”), the month being reported, and your name and section.

Be sure to format the spreadsheet appropriately. Use the sample above (for shampoo and conditiors) as a guide to appropriate formatting.
