You will turn in the following:
1. An Abstract. An abstract is a succinct summary of a scientific paper and is usually written last, after all of the other sections. Your abstract should address the following in one or two paragraphs:
a. What you did
b. Why you did it
c. How you did it
d. What you learned from doing it
2. A graph of the data in table 2 (p 236 in the lab manual) showing the percentage change in mass of your eggs.
a. The graph needs to be properly labeled, trendlines and slopes displayed, and have a legend or other means for distinguishing the different solutions.
b. Your graph should look something like the one displayed below:
3. The answers to conclusion questions (1-5) under “decalcified egg osmosis” on page 237 in your lab manual. You should base the answers to the conclusion questions on the data in your graph.
As always lab assignments need to be typed and turned in at the beginning of the lab period the following week.
