You can use this or you could
(in keeping with your other
sources look at legislation
specifically on immigrants in
the 1960s or more recent
I WOULD PREFER IF YOU WOULD PLEASE FIND A DIFFERENT EVENT THAT FITS INTO THE TIME LINE.
APA Citation for Primary Source 1:

TEACHERS RESPONSE TO THIS PRIMARY RESOURCE:
This is a useful source but it
is not a primary source as it
was not written in 1960s ... a
primary source has to be
written at the time of the
event it is discussing. There
are a lot of primary source on
civil rights. A secondary
sources needs to be a journal
or book see again the
handout for this.
YOU NEED TO FIND ANOTHER PRIMARY SOURCE FOR THIS PAPER PLEASE!!!!
PLEASE USE THIS TO HELP IDENTIFY A PRIMARY SOURCE: http://vizedhtmlcontent.next.ecollege.com/pub/content/5f23b9c2-aec5-4356-ad60-77b27d5887c3/HIS206.Primary_Sources_handout.pdf
Thesis:
Looking at immigrants’ history in the U.S., there are limited opportunities to the Chinese
immigrants yet their contribution to the development of the United States was significant.
TEACHERS RESPONSE TO THESIS STATEMENT:
You have a great start here
but keep in mind you thesis
needs to reflect the sources
(that is the evidence) that you
have found ... you might want
to work at this as you
progress with the paper.
PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND AS YOU WRITE THE PAPER!!!!!!!!
