Is employee engagement the most important things in this life? Does this engagement buy happiness or satisfaction in the workforce? In recent years, the subject of engagement or satisfaction has become a craze among the people. In addition, let’s defined employee engagement is all about mutual commitment between the company and the employee. In other words, mutual commitment is the main key to push the performance of the company up to the whole new level of performance. I’m strongly believes, that satisfaction is all about “me”, but engagement is all about the company, and my personal goals. In addition, employee engagement can unlock employee potential to drive high performance. Capturing the heads of the employees and their hearts is not an easy job; it does require some engagement from the manager. Next, Happiness is a big part of our personal lives, but does happiness is more important than engagement. I believes, that happiness does buy some satisfaction, but not for a long time. I believe, having a short-term goal will buy some satisfaction in me, but will not buy engagement. Usually, engagement is a long-term goal with a clear mission and vision goal to achieve. On the other hand, lower engagement employees likely four times to leave the company. In addition, dis-engaged managers 3 times more likely to have dis-engaged employees. A good manager should always care about his employee. As a result of that action, people intend to care about the company and do their best to achieve the company objectives. It is like a chess game, managers should build a strong strategy to engage employee in the workforce. By knowing the chess rules, 87% of C-level-managers believes, that dis-engaged employees are the biggest threats to their businesses. As a result of that, the best way to boost engagement is building a trust between the manager and the employer. One way to build trust is care about employees. Emotional bonds will form faster between the manager and the employer. Finally, creativity is an important role in business. Only 2% of 44-year-old are creative V.S, 98% of 5-year-old creativity. Empowerment and innovation, is one the most important elements that need to be learned from an early age.
