multiple regression
Ok so I know you worked hard on the multiple regression you did for me but I can not use it the way it is. However, keep that money and let us just start over as new. It was my fault for explaining what I needed poorly. I want to clarify what is required.
Here is the section of my paper that I need the regression for:
“Considering that even using the best current indicators fluctuating fuel prices that change the mean difference between the two fuel sources are likely and unpredictable a multiple regression would be performed. The dependent variable would be the amount in dollars saved and the independent variables would include the calculated means of the variables listed above. A separate multiple regression would be performed using changing fuel prices as the independent variables.”
I need a multiple regression that uses dollars saved as the dependent variable
The independent variables will be:
|
Mean difference purchase cost |
8000 |
|
Mean difference fuel per mile cost |
0.06 |
|
Mean difference service life |
20 |
|
Mean difference maintenance cost |
0.02 |
A second multiple regression will show dollars saved as the dependent variable
And the independent variables would be changing fuel prices (mean difference between propane and diesel)
