Stock Investment 1

Stock Investment 2

Introduction

(Levišauskait, 2010) argue that investing in the stock market is a risky affair despite the fact that it is a good way of earning profits. However, the question of how and where to invest should be answered before any steps are taken. Apple Inc., Wal-Mart and McDonalds are currently some of the best companies to invest in and will undoubtedly bring good returns in the near future. In order to get optimum profits from these companies, $25000 can be divided between them as follows.

Apple Inc. Shares

$10,744

MacDonald’s Shares

$9,664.52

Wal-Mart Shares

Portfolio Investment Analysis

The following figure guided my portfolio choice of Apple, McDonald and Wal-Mart stocks.

In the technology sector, Apple Inc. proves to be a solid choice by maintaining its stocks in addition it has an impeccable reputation. Therefore, investing $10,744 in this company will be effective because of the foreseen rise in its stocks as a result of their much anticipated iPhone 7 release as (Levišauskait, 2010) notes. According to (NASDAQ:AAPL) their shares trade for $107.44 for every share that will account for a total of 100 shares, which will hopefully double in value after the release of their flagship mobile device.

McDonald’s food is another choice that rarely disappoints, because of its diversified market throughout the Americas and Europe that makes it appealing to any investor. (NASDAQ:MCD) shows that spending $9,664.52 on buying its stocks that trade at $117.86 results in powerful investment that will over time see a steady rise. The amount will be enough to secure approximately 82 shares that will gradually increase in value and give lucrative returns as expected.

Wal-Mart stores are very popular in the United States because they provide various products and services to customer that make them have a reliable consumer base. Consequently, (Levišauskait, 2010)) explains that buying shares worth $4,598.29 at $72.83 each is a good investment that is assured to gain a substantial profit worth the investment that will buy a total of 63 shares. In addition, to opening new stores and branches in major cities, Wal-Mart is quickly rising in ranks to become one of the best supermarkets in America.
