4. Determine the Thevenin equivalent circuit as seen by the load resistor RL for the circuit given below.

Find the load resistance for maximum power transfer in this circuit.

VS = 9 V, R1 = 1.5 k, R2 = 3.0 k, R3 = 1.0 k.

5. Find the Norton equivalent for the circuit to the left of the terminals a – b.

6. Find the Thevenin equivalent as seen by the load resistor RL for the circuit shown below.

7. Find the Thevenin equivalent of the circuit connected to the resistor RL. If RL = 4 , calculate the

current through RL.
