Branding strategy

Having identified the market and the location that Connect P is going to target, it’s going to have to come up with a branding strategy that will help it be recognized easily and also products associated with it get recognized easily. Washington is the home of a vast population which is mostly made up of people who are in the working class category and the middle class in society. This mean stat they do not have time to spend on certain things and the branding should ensure that it’s associated with something that people can do and perform other tasks at the same time.

This will mean that the branding campaign will have to target people when they are either relaxing or taking a break. In order to gain the local market that is Washington, the product must represent the brand where people are product and wanted to be associated with. This is through the adding of a certain type of class to it where it will spell opulence and attitude and at the same time show that people using it are cool and so is the products. (Tuten, Solomon 2013)

Connect P brand also need to be perceived as progressive and complex but with a certain mix of simplicity to it. This will make it easy for the users to perceive it’s being hard for users who haven’t used it as being hard and hence they are going to trust me more and use it to store more data and to arrange various things in their life driving its demand up. Through simplicity it will make it easy for the users to utilize the application and this will ensure that they log onto the application on a more frequent basis. (Evans, 2010)

The branding strategy also has to lay the ground work for the application being a success in future markets that it chooses to venture (Tuten, Solomon 2013). This is because; the company is targeting one market and did risks having an advantage when it ventures into other markets. It has to have a sound brand that will make it be marketable and also prove to be more advantageous that the first mover advantage that it currently enjoys in the Washington market.

Pricing strategy

The pricing strategy has to seem pocket friendly ad at the same time it has to be discriminatory to certain people in the market. This is because the products want to represent itself as a product meant for the working class. This will help the product in gaining access to certain markets and also ensuring that it is optimally running where it is not faced with slow speeds in the updating process. The high price will however be offset by the low cost that it is going to take to run the software. This will mean that the charges might go to certain lows of non-existent fees as the only thing one will require will be to have smartphone that has a running battery and also to have access to the internet. This will serve as a good way to retain the consumers that are already using the application. (Evans, Mckee 2010)

As the company grows, it is going to develop new products and t can avail the new products at discounted rates t people who are already using Connect P. this will lead to people having to buy or use the full package which will mean rather than buying a product, they are going to be buying into a brad and the products that are associated with the brand (Tuten, Solomon 2013). This will create a market base at discounted prices and also help to increase the company’s revenue.

Distribution strategy

The product is hoping to be launched at a publicized platform in order to create awareness of the product. Before the lunch, the product will have been in the market for a period of not less than six months. This will ensure that people are using the product and during and after the launch of the product, they are going to recommend the product to their friends and acquaintances. This will help the product in being used by more people and also marketing it. The product is going to be available on Apple store and also Google play store. This will ensure that it is accessible to people who are using IOS and the android operating systems. This will unify users no matter the operating systems they are using as these two operating systems have an issue with compatibility. (Evans, 2010)

The company will also be available on various browsing platforms and this will make it easier for people who aren’t using smartphones to down load it but it will have a limited number of functions.

Category of competitors

The product is going to be competing with intra-competitors and also inter -competition. The company’s major competitions are going to be inter-competitors who are based in the social industry but they have specialized in different categories. This is companies such as Facebook and also the basic alarm from Google and Apple. Facebook is going to be the major competition for the firm due to its wide markets and reach. (Evans, 2010)

The major disadvantage that Facebook faces is that it has to specialize in any market and category and this means that it’s just offering a general service. The company is hoping to use tis weakness to target potential clients. The aspect of privacy is going to be the main priority and also that people are able to sync their calendars and meet when they are free is going to help. Facebook also faces a disadvantage as it doesn’t help its uses in formulating plans ad schedules for what they are going to be doing. Connect P is bring all this activity into one forums and this means that one application can be used to do what a number of applications do. (Ryan, Jones 2011)

Differentiation strategy

The company seeks to establish itself as one stop shopping company for various applications and seeks to ensure people have an easier time with keeping in touch with their friends and also with keeping time on their schedules. The company seeks to encourage people to take advantage of the free time that they have to engage with friends and ensure that people are not too much work oriented. (Tuten, Solomon 2013)

The company seeks to launch various applications which will help people to have fun and do fun activities when they are out of working. Having based its strategy on privacy and also in connecting people, the company will need to ensure that there are sufficient firewalls and privacy authentication steps when an individual seeks to recover their schedule if the phone they were using gets lost. (Evans, Mckee 2010)

The company will also use the localization presence to help friends ensure that they are aware of their favorite meeting places and also track times when they met. This will be different to other companies for they only showcase that someone was somewhere but it doesn’t identify the frequency that they were in the location.

The company also seeks to differentiate itself from other products through its target populations, as it targets young people and people who are in the middle class and working, it’s going to ensure that it centers on this population margin as it will enable them to meet up with other people in the youth group and have fun. This will help in popularizing the application and also in helping people to network.

Company intentions

The company seeks to be market leader in the industry and in the market that it is going to be occupying. Although it faces competition from products which offer similar services but on different platforms, its merging of these services on a single platform will mean that it will be a pioneer in this industry. This will also enable the company to set the price for its products and also be able to buy out some of the applications that it dims necessary. This will help in increasing its streams of revenue. The applications projects to break even within a period of ten months after it launch. This will mean that it will have earned its investors’ money back and start making more revenue. As its popularity increases, its revenue will increase.

In order to stay relevant in the market, the company seeks to continue being innovative and developing various products and also improving on its existing products. This will help the company to retains its consumer base and grow it.

Through acquisition of other applications, the company will be able to venture in established industries and through acquisitions it will be able to take up a certain share of the market and develop products that will help it to increase its market share in the industries that it ventures into.

Social media tools

Social media has in the recent ten years grown to be an important art of marketing and a way if reaching vast amounts of people. The company will use its established social media pages and also other popular social media pages to market the commodity. The major social media ages that are going to be used will include Facebook and tweeter.

Facebook

Facebook has grown to establish itself as a huge place to market due to the huge portion of population that is on Facebook. It offers the best avenue for firms and companies to promote their products and also offers an interface for consumers to discuss and engage each other on product (Evans, 2010)

. The company is going to use Facebook for the strategizing plan and also to identify areas in which it can improve the product. Facebook is also going to be used as a way of marketing and also offering customer care services on its pages and accounts. This will enable the clients and potential clients to learn more about the product. (Tuten, Solomon 2013)

Tweeter

Tweeter is an essential marketing tool especially when target people who work in white collar jobs. Tweeter represents itself as authentic and reliable and the fact that it has a limited number of characters enables people to read a lot of things and yet so little and hence spend less time. Through the use of tweeter, the company will appeal to the middle class and working people. (Evans, 2010)

Integrated communication plan

The most reliable communication tools that the company is going to use in line with its advertising strategy will comprise of both traditional and modern communication tools. The company is going to use the internet for advertising and as a communication platform, by posting video clips of people using the applications as they go about their work.
