Human Resources Advisor Position Summary Long, long ago, in an HR department not like any other, there lived a family of open minded, unconventional, wacky Human Resources Professionals looking for someone to join their team. Who was this person? What kind of values did this person have? Well, this person was fun, easy going, creative, non-traditional, passionate, bold, daring, and able to build relationships with all the people in the kingdom ranging from Knights and Townsmen to Kings and Queens. (Basically, employees and managers from Zappos.com, Inc. or its Affiliates). Primary Responsibilities Provide HR Support for our Kentucky Location (outlet store and outlet warehouse). Perform a variety of duties to promote employee welfare through relationship building, conflict resolution,

team building, and partnerships. Provide HR assistance in line with our culture. Oversee the employee review process. Training and Development – ability to speak in a group setting, develop and facilitate HR training courses. Manage the Leave of Absence (LOA) process for the employees they support. Problem solving and conflict resolution. Be an employee to management liaison. Partnering with management in the areas they support. HR Administrative duties. Execute all HR business processes assigned by the Las Vegas HR team. Other projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills: Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of seven years Human Resources experience and at least 2 years of Employee Relations

experience. Minimum of two years supervisor/leadership experience. Previous experience in the following areas, to include, training and development, performance

management, and LOA administration. Exposure to Employee Benefits, Recruiting, Training, Employee Engagement, and Payroll a plus. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and with all levels of management. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Ability to work in a fast paced environment and take work direction from more than one person Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint Ability to search Internet for research purposes Must be extremely organized and able to multi-task Must have solid interpersonal skills (written and verbal) Sense of humor required
