Individual Assignment: Product Development Presentation

Purpose of Assignment

This assignment helps the student to explore phase gate systems in the context of the simplified four stage model presented in the text. This includes being able to present activities that would be appropriate for each of the stages of outline concept, detailed design, testing, and launch. This is supplemented by a deeper dive into two selected development tools from the detailed list of “Tools to Support New Product Development” in Chapter 10 of Strategic Innovation Management.
