Identify variables needed.

<Fully describe each of the variables involved, including: variable name, precise definition, type (ratio, ordinal, nominal, etc.), and constraints.>

Perform descriptive statistics and identify issues or outliers.

Clean data if necessary.

<Use recoding, subsetting, converting to common units, systematically addressing missing or invalid data.>

Create a final dataset, save, and backup.
