Introduction

  • The purpose of this presentation is to develop three strategies that may be implemented in my detention center.
  • This is because of the continuous increase in the number of boys taking part in gang related
  • The programmes will enable the boys to regain their place in the society through rehabilitation.
  • The programmes will eradicate enemity and misunderstanding between the boys from different gangs leading to a mutual coexistence with each other in the community

The above are the major challenges that organizations are likely to face in the next twenty years but the most critical one is obtaining human capital and maximizing on investment capital in the sector. This presentation will try to show some of the reason that human capital will be the main challenge in the slides that follows.

Setting a Social Site with a Resource Center to educate the Boys

  • The social media will enable the boys to interact with one another easily due to the aspect of growing technology
  • It will contain all materials concerning the dangers of participating in criminal activities and connect them to different opportunities existing in the community
  • The social site will also connect them to the various community leaders and this will make it easy for them to get assistance at any time
  • The social site will bring out the difference between the existing boy gangs in the community and enable the boys appreciate one another and change their behaviors

Acquiring human capital and maximizing value of investment in such sectors faces an uphill task considering that competition is growing rapidly. This implies that it will be very hard for employees to be loyal increasing the rate at which the companies will be losing their best talent. It will be difficult to reward such employees as it will be difficult to tell when they will run to other competitors (Eltis, 2015).

Capacity Building Programme

  • This will be done through sporting activities and picnics
  • The boys will be taking part in several games and picnics so as to eradicate their violent behaviors and love for taking involving themselves in criminal activities.
  • The capacity building activities will encourage their innovation levels and enable them to complete tasks as a unit.
  • They will be able to learn the strength and weakness of each other and appreciate each other during their interaction

Competition becoming a main challenge for firms, it has become easier for employees to switch between different organization at their convenience. This brings challenges at recruiters in making policies that can help the firms in retaining the best talent through intensive care employee engagement. Research proofs that over 52 percent of organizations are struggling to build the leaders of the firm in the next generation (Eltis, 2015).

*

Community Programme

  • The community programme will act as a platform through which the leaders of the community and the boys can come together physically twice or thrice a month to share and learn from one another.
  • The community programme will inculcate different factors such as counselling, community service activities such as cleaning and education initiative
  • This will keep the boys aware of the negative impacts of criminal activities
  • The boys will also acquire skills in different economic and social sectors that will enable them to live satisfactory and self-sustainable lives.

Corporate culture plays a role in human capital management by the fact that it helps a firm to sustain volatile market scenarios, grow and expand. It is a requirement of elevating market for companies to have a strong culture. If the culture is weak, each resource during elevating market periods, will be occupied by loads of work affecting the health of the employee and introducing more office chaos and clashes.
