I came Virginia from Colorado which is located in United States.
2-Which university did you graduate from?
I graduated from Virginia University.
3-How did you come to your recent position (job experience)?
My father was shepherd in Colorado and I was selling cows with him. This was my first experience about trade. When I came to Virginia for University, I saw a lot of oppurtunities in this city. I made my internship in corrufor then I worked in Metro about 6 years selling manager. I opened my cash&carry with a lot of experiences which I gained in Metro.
4-When did you start to your recent position?
I opened this cash&carry 11 years ago.
5-What do you like about your business?
First of all, I really like to be successful and success is money in trade. This business allowed me see the other countries and I like to see other cultures.
6-What is most challenging about your position?
In this position, you have to take risks about your business and this is not easy. If you are owner of store, you have think about everything for your store because when your store go bankrupt, employees can find a different job but you will stay with a lot of debt.
7-What does your job surprise you?
It really surprise me when my products prices increase instantly. I does not surprise me always positively. For example: when my customers do not pay what they bought from my store with check, it really surprise me badly.
8-What 3 caolities skills are the most important in holding this position?
1) You need to learn how to take risks.
2) You need to know how you can make your employees better. You need inspire them about business.
3) You should not act emotionally in business because it is not easy to be boss of hundred people.
9-What advice you will give to someone like me to get into you same field?
You have to follow product’s prices based on market day by day because even 1 percent is really important in cash&carry business. You always need to be fast because if you sell your product, your costumers always expect you send their product fast. As I said, you should not act emotionally because it can cause a lot of problems. For example: if your relative is your employee and he or she is bad at about his job, you should be able to say them their problems. You should not make your agreements verbally in business, you should always make written agreements.
10-Which courses in college helped you the most?
Accounting is really helped me in business because even one mistake can cause a lot of problems for your company.
11-Did you planned as hope to have the position when you started your career or it just happened?
I knew I will make trade in future but I did not even dream that I will have 100 employee that is why it mostly just happened. I worked a lot to come this position and I took risks but you cannot plan everything. Some of your success can just happened therefore your luck is really important as well.
