Prepare a short presentation (five to ten minutes) of your research. You may either record your presentation or submit a presentation document or link (PowerPoint or other presentation platform). Include the main idea of your work, visuals, support, and a conclusion. Attempt to include your audience by asking questions – rhetorical or otherwise.
You are not required to use PowerPoint for your presentation. However, no matter what platform you use, you will find helpful tips in the Guidelines for Creating a PowerPoint Presentation document before getting started (Links to an external site.).
In this unit, you will submit your presentation. Please make sure it is edited, proofread, spell checked, and fully revised before submitting it for grading.
•Additionally, your sources should be correctly cited using APA style and you should include a working list of References. (By "working" list of References, I mean that it's understood that sources will be added to and removed from your References list as you complete your paper; it's fine and expected that your References list will be revised as you draft and finalize your research paper.)
Before turning in your assignment, as yourself the following questions:
•Does the presentation clearly state the thesis?
•Does the presentation identify and engage an opposing claim
•Do you use credible, professionally designed sources to illustrate support for your assertions?
•Have you included both internal (parenthetical) citations and a References page?
