Part 1: Individual Analysis
ROLE: FINANCIAL OFFICER
On your own, you will develop a solution to the case based on what works best for your role. The solution will include:
· an overall statement of the management challenge presented by the case
· a statement of the facts of the case
· a proposal that addresses the challenge and that states what would be best from the perspective of your role
· a defense of the proposal
This part of the project should require 2 – 4 pages of text.

The individual analysis will be graded based on the following rubric:

90–100 |
Student(s) clearly display superior understanding of the course concepts important to the case and convey this understanding through a professionally prepared written report. Student(s) emphasize critical thinking skills and use case and other academic sources to defend responses or provide counterarguments. |

80–89 |
Student(s) display above-average understanding of course concepts and demonstrate most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in one of the content areas or written requirements. |

70–79 |
Student(s) display average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate most of the above, but may be slightly off-track or weak in two of the content areas or written requirements. |

60–69 |
Student(s) display below-average understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate only some of the above; are off-track in at least one of the content areas and are weak or noncompliant with one of the written requirements. |

50–59 |
Student(s) display minimal understanding of the course concepts and demonstrate little of the above; analysis and/or presentation shows weaknesses in content and fails to meet most writing requirements. |

0–49 |
Student(s) display no understanding of the course concepts; grade is assigned based on the severity of the weaknesses exhibited in content and the extent of the failure to meet writing requirements. |
