PROJECT CHARTER ABOUT CREATING A WEBSITE FOR HR 7

Project Charter about Creating a Website for HR

Project Description

The project Website for HR has been started by Company Z, which has been started so that the Company can improve in the production of Cement. The project will help the increased number of employees the project will help the human resource manager in maintain the records of the employees and scale its operation through the evaluation of the employees through the website Company web portal.

Due to the ever rising customer base the website will also have a customer management area where they will be able to provide their contact information, personal details, make enquiries and also the Company Z will be able to respond to customer request via the websites, the website will also have the following information; company location, contact information, new services that Company Z has introduced.

Problem and Result statement

Currently, the Company doesn’t have any website or the portal where the Employees can have their information recorded or the Customer to give their feedback. This has made it difficult for Company Z to evaluate their employee’s performance and also the Customer have not been able to give feedback and make inquiries to the organization. Finally, the company contact information and location are not easily accessible since the Company does not have a Website. Some of the remedy to the problem statement;

· The website and portal will make Company Z be known by a large number of customers from various locations.

· The HR will be able to evaluate the performance of the Company Employees.

· Recording of Customer personal details and other records.

Project Justification

The main objective of Company Z is to increase productivity and reach more Customer to access the Cement products which the Company is making, therefore the Website Project for HR is very important for the Company because it will increase the number of Customers for the Company’s product, the project will also help the Human Resource Manager to evaluate the performance of the company’s employees. In the long run, the project will establish a significance hence delivering a transition in running the business.

Compared to other alternatives such as developing a standalone system a Website Project for HR is the best since it will require little capital to come up with the website and also less maintenance (Pick, 2015). The Website is also good since it will be available to everyone with internet enabled devices from any location unlike a system based in the Company Z location.
