Project Communication Plan

What would be your conclusion concerning the importance of an internal communication plan?

Communication refers to the process of sending a certain set of information from one person to another. It refers to the method used by one person to pass a particular message to another person. Therefore, effective communication refers to the process by which the receiver of the message decodes the message appropriately as per the intentions of the sender (Kliem, 2008). Effective communication occur when the information has been interpreted as expected and the necessary actions taken.

Therefore, project communication plan refers to the process by which every project manager comes up with the best means to pass information to the members so as to ensure that the project is carried out in the best way possible. It refers to the process by which the project manager identifies the information that is required by the team members so as to ensure that they work towards ensuring that the team achieves success through attaining the set objectives and the goals at the beginning of the project.

Also, it is the responsibility of the project leader to ensure that he identifies when the specific information would be appropriate for the group. It is very important since it ensures that the leader is aware of the different set of messages that need to be passed to the members so as to ensure that the project progress well. Also, project communication plan involves the ability of the project manager to identify the best way, method and technique to pass the message so as to ensure that the members receive the information in time for them to act appropriately.

Effective communication is very vital for any project since it improves the possibility of the project to be successful. Therefore, every project manager in coordination with the other team members should ensure that they work to achieve effective communication which will lead to the success of the team. Internal communication plan refers to the process by which the team members communicate among themselves as they continue to perform the activities and actions involved in the project (FitzPatrick, & Valskov, 2014).

Internal communication plan is indispensable for the success of any project since it is the beginning of the effective strategies for the efficiency of the team. It improves the communication skills among the team members which enables them to pass the necessary information at different levels of the project. It ensures that the members understand one another well so as to have the knowledge of what is expected of them and what they must accomplish for them to succeed.

Also, it gives the team members an opportunity to coordinate in all the activities which improves their efficiency and effectiveness. Also, internal communication plan enables the team to make the necessary changes at every level of the project which helps them achieve progressive success giving them an opportunity to succeed in the overall project (Ruck, 2015). Good communication skills motivate the team to integrate their interests so as to act towards achieving a common goal as a team.

The team members can also teach each other their different skills which when implemented ensure that the project run in the best manner possible. Also, the group is aware of what is expected of them at every level of the project which enables them to struggle to achieve all the necessities. Internal communication plan ensures that the group understands one another which enable them to coordinate in all the activities in the project.

In conclusion, it is important for every project manager to implement the most effective internal communication plan so as to ensure that they attain all the set goals and objectives in the prescribed time.
