formal report
Abstract:
Use of car batteries, like the hybrid car batteries, has a big growth over the few year. BMW has a car named i3. This car has 170-horsepower ride. This car has an electric batteries pack can delivered more than 80 miles of range and also has a small gas engine which can double the distance of the electric. The dimensions of the car are 157.4 inches long, 69.9 inches wide and 62.1 inches high. The problem for the hybrid car batteries that give that give less miles than the gas only cars. In fact this problem is not a big deal because the hybrid cars will make the buyer pay less money on gas. Navigant Research shows that on 2014 sales more than 63,325 battery electric vehicle sales. According to Navigant the growth rate (CAGR) is high as 20.9 percent, with moderate to almost 16 percent. According to Tesla Panasonic forecast sales growth for automotive batteries of 11 percent over the next 12 months which means the hybrid cars is the future of the cars. The project’s principal investigator (PI) is well qualified for this project he have done more than 15 research in his major which is Mechanical Engineering. He has taken some class about electric Engineering while his GPA 2.94 in his major and 2.8 overall. This project will be completed for 3335.21 $.
Introduction :
1.1 Purpose
The purpose of this document is to propose the research for hybrid car batteries is Essentialness stockpiling structures usually are essential for electric drive vehicles, for electric drive vehicles, for example, half breed electric vehicles (HEVs), module mixture electric vehicles (PHEVs), and every single electric vehicle (EVs).
1.2 Background
The mix of a littler gas motor for influence, an electric engine for mileage and the guarantee of purported green driving have ended up being fruitful motivations for customers hoping to spare cash on fuel and do their part to assist the earth. The batteries in half and half autos are in charge of the better efficiency that is gotten to be key of technology. They control of the electric engine, which can low the speed of the cars. This puts less weight on the gas motor. There are three types of batteries for hybrid cars the first type is lithium-Ion Batteries, Second is Nickel-Metal Hybrid Batteries, and third is lead-Acid Batteries.

1.3 Scope
My research will be focusing on the Hybrid Car Batteries that track three types of batteries,
Hybrid Engine, miles for hybrid cars in electric batteries and gas. There will be a lot of thing that I will not covered in this research.
2. Discussion:
2.1 Approach
My proposed will start with an overview of the importance of the hybrid car batteries and then the types of batteries and the cause that the batteries made. The report will be focused on different hybrid cars batteries and there engines. I will describe the miles in electric batteries and gas in miles. The report will be almost about the miles and prices of the batteries and cars.
2.2 Result
I will deliver 6-8 pages report describing hybrid car batteries. My report describe the different between hybrid cars and gas car. The proposed report will also fulfill the requirement for EGR 3350, Technical Communication for Engineers and Scientists.
2.3 Statement of Work
To achieve the goals of the report, I will complete the following tasks:
Task 1 Document: (3 hours)
Write an overview of the important of the hybrid car batteries.
Task 2 Research and Document: (8 hours)
Research and document of the types of hybrid car batteries.
Task 3 Research and Document: (8 hours)
Research and document of the hybrid cars and gas cars with the miles for both and the cost.
Task 4 Deliver: (6- 8 minutes)
Produce and deliver a presentation in class at a time and place to be determined.
Task 5 Deliver: (8 hours)
A formal report document that follows the specific report guidelines stated in the syllabus.
3. Resources
3.1 Personnel
I will be the only one performing research and writing for this report. I am a junior student Mechanical Engineer with 2.94 GPA. I have write more than 15 research in my career. I have taken electric classes and that will help in my report. I have a scholarship form my government because I graduated with a high GPA in high school.
3.2 Facilities and Equipment
. All the computer labs have the required software that I need to create this project. The University also provides multiple high-resolution printers.
4. Costs
4.1 Fiscal
27 hours of my labor will be required to complete this project. In addition, it will take 16 miles to drive to and from the Universities faculties and equipment. To use the Universities computers there is a lab fee per semester, which is 14 weeks long., Technical Writing Communication for Engineers and Scientists is included in tuition for 3 credit hours. The total cost for the project is provided in Table 1.1.

4.2 Time
I have done all the task during the last 4 weeks of the semester and I am ready for the research According to the schedule:
· Presentation: Determined by the professor.
· Report: Submitted on pilot no later than 11:59 P.M on July 28, 2016
5. Conclusion
5.1 Summary
The hybrid car batteries, has a big growth over the few year. The hybrid cars will make the buyer pay less money on gas.
