WALT DISNEY AND IMAGE ANALYSIS
The Disney Company has a good background of attracting the attention of the world, and its customers are its ability in the use of the images (Bradbury 30-33). Walt Disney uses their images very well that the stakeholders can sell their products with ease and without hurting their interest. Walt Disney has a lot of stakeholders of different categories and age, to keep their interest and the customer’s relationship going on, their need to maintain a good rapport for the same. The use of social media may become a harm for those who are being engaged directly and that, the failure of it to be controlled may pass the message that is not intended. For that reason, the Walt Disney has considered the varied Visual Rhetoric such as esthetics, color, media, typography, space and the appeals such as ethos, pathos, logos, Kairos.
The company has its stakeholders who have their values and aspirations which must be, met by the corporation. In the process of making sure that the stakeholders are being attended to, the identification of the stakeholders as (Bradbury 30-33) explains. The Disney Company wants to meet the aspirations of the interested parties, and therefore, there is a need to consider their kind of the images they use.
According to a sample of the pictures by Walt Disney, figure 1.0 and figure 2.0 shows a sample of the photos which will play an arose in the evaluation of the stakeholder needs and goals.
The government being the first stakeholder of the Walt Disney has to collaborate in the engagement through the provisions of the rules and regulations which guides the media use. Walt Disney in reciprocation has to make sure that they can do this by ensuring the kind of the content they put on the internet cannot be used by the governed to create a sense. The example of the photos provided above can only be noted to keep the ethical values which are expected in the daily progress of the company. The government won’t be able to tolerate any media which in any way may show nudity (Disney and Jackson, 41).When this is done, then the government will have to come in to bring their regulation. It thus passes a fact that, the government as a stakeholder holds some values which are very dear to allowing smooth operation in the media. The use of graphics by Walt Disney has to be well mapped and thus the need for Walt Disney to put this in collaboration. Cooperation of the stakeholder in the type of graphics which are to be posted binds the values and ethics desired.
There are those stakeholders of Walt Disney, who ensures that their work is going well. The need to keep the ethos of collaboration by providing that the kind of the graphics they put on the internet are the ones which ensure that they maintain a clean reputation. When the reputation of the company plummets, the organization will have the creditors investing more in the association. To keep financing of Walt Disney projects, the graphics will have to be posted and ensure they keep the needed standard for the company progress and growth. For example, as it would be anticipated, once parents
Realize that their children are being exposed to crude images by the corporation, they will stop purchasing the firm videos and other products. Of course, there is no investor would wish to have the business they have invested is getting the loss. If the company posts the pictures which cause the revenues to drop, the creditor will have to leave the organization for the obvious reasons. According to Kaplan et al. (60-67), It is, therefore, the role of Walt Disney to make sure that creditors are kept notably well for the reasons of remaining both optimally liquid and capitalized so as to execute its day-to-day business. Any event that causes the company’s reputation to plummet, as it may be the case on an occasion where the firm publishes indecent graphics on its social media platforms, would scare aware creditors.
There is also the interest groups which is a group of people who wants to have the work of Walt Disney being responsible to the society. The role of Disney, in this case, is to make sure what they feed the community with is that benefit. The interest group is always by the association which makes sure that they can create value for the society. When it comes to this, Walt Disney has an image to protect their image, and this can be done by making sure what they post what does not harm the children since the primary stakeholders of Walt Disney are the kids. Among the interest groups which are taking care of the children are the lawyers, and social activists. When Disney exposes the children to what they may not be appropriate for them, they may take them to court. In this case in point, Walt Disney has to carry most of the operations with
The interest of such social activists and lawyers as part of the interested parties, so as to avoid getting into unnecessary legal suits (Bradbury 30-33).
The last stakeholder stakeholders in the work of Walt Disney are the children. In the images that are being put on the internet, there is need to make sure that the children are the greatest beneficiaries of them all. Looking keenly at this photo;
The kids, in this case, are the array of focus. When kids are the movie shops or pursuing through the internet to know if they are anything good for them, they will always be interested. Therefore, Walt Disney takes the lead role in creating an impression of their work and making sure it creates an interest to the children (George, 35) explains. The picture can create an ethos appeal through their smiles and what appears to be a good atmosphere to those who are within. It is important to note that the children are turned on by the impression and if it is not done well, it means, they can quickly make convince their parents.
Conclusion
Walt Disney has a key role in understating the needs of the stakeholders. When they can know the desires of the stakeholders, in what they put on their websites or social media, it must always be able to capture the ethical values. Each of the stakeholders has a certain expectation, and it is not achieved, it becomes hard to get an impression, and therefore the future of Walt Disney may be at a crossroad. With the production of Walt Disney, kids remain the best of the stakeholders.
