JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Operations will be accountable for serving as the organization’s lead operations executive
responsible for significantly improving the effectiveness and efficiency of site operations, including patient
flow management, staff and physician utilization, operational controls, and the over-all positive patient
experience. The intent is to make this organization a “preferred organization of choice." To accomplish
this, the successful candidate will need to collaborate with various departments in the facility, including
Human Resources, Finance, IT, Marketing and Medical Affairs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong emphasis is on organizational initiatives and projects aimed at improving practice efficiency and
financial performance. Partner with the practices to develop the organization and its ability to attract and
retain patients through expanding the scope of clinical services, integrating quality and outcomes
initiatives, working with clinical operations to improve efficiency, market positioning, and financial
performance.
The intent is to facilitate this organization to become:

JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
MBA, Masters in Health Care Administration, or Masters in Public Management; significant experience
may be considered in lieu of the Master’s degree requirement.
10 years of effective leadership success in a healthcare delivery setting, preferably oriented toward the
outpatient environment.
5 years’ experience leading an operations function at the management level required.
Proven record of managing organizational conflicts between and among departments
Demonstrated record of seasoned management from a group practice setting, along with a track
record in process improvement

SALARY RANGE - $80,000 To $120,000
