The issue under consideration is the impact of technology on the global business through the facilitation of communication, marketing, and logistics. It is apparent that the rapid development of technology has revolutionized the international business by transforming global commerce, conquering language and distance barriers, facilitating methods of conducting business, and stabling personal connections. As such, it is important to reflect on the ways in which technology, particularly mobile technology and the Internet has facilitated the fundamental shift in the global business operations and the engagement with customers. Further, the global business environment has experienced substantial change with the success of technology-focused companies in foreign markets and the development of high value-added products. However, technology has been associated with several negative impact or drawbacks in the global business. It is fundamental to conduct a comprehensive search to retrieve the relevant information and facts about the influence of technology on the contemporary business operations. Further, the information is closely related to the changes in communication, marketing, and logistics caused by technological advancement in the global market.
Interpretation and Inference
It is evident that the implementation of technology in the global business environment has directly enhanced communication, marketing, and logistics, which has improved service and product quality, therefore, creating competitiveness. The technological advancements have created strategic opportunities for businesses to establish competitive advantages in various functional areas of management such as marketing, supply chain management, and logistics. Some of the modern technologies used in the global business world include information technology, communication technology, and automatic identification technology. In logistics, there has been a fundamental increase of speed, accuracy, and reliability in data gathering, analysis, processing, documentation, and transmission with the implementation of automation, information, and communication technologies (Bhandari, 2014).
Technology has enhanced business performance and competitiveness. It has played an imperative role in the success of supply chain the enhancement of the overall efficiency as well as the effectiveness of the logistics system. New technologies are increasingly implemented in logistics to address the competitive pressure in the global business environment. Also, technology is an integral part of the strategic approaches of international corporations because it promotes their performance and competitiveness. However, the extent of success is dependent on the implementation of an appropriate technology and the readiness of appropriate corporate management policies, infrastructure, and culture.
Internet and information technologies have facilitated the transformation of the modern business. These technologies have changed the traditional marketing strategies, and the Internet has advanced the marketing activities. The transformation of marketing functions has been characterized by increased speeds and more effective processes. Additionally, the market has become more customer-focused and accessible from a different location at any time. Businesses are implementing marketing information systems to gather information for marketing actions that help managers make effective strategic, tactical, and operational decisions for marketing management. Furthermore, technology has facilitated the promotion of products and services to build customer trust and loyalty. Multinational corporations have managed to transform the opportunities offered by technological advancements into advantages and increase their competitiveness (Bayraktutan, Arslan, Kaygisiz, & Druica, 2009).

The impact of technology in the global business world can be considered based on the concepts of trade and equity, regional trading blocs, economic gains of trade, and the protection or free trade. In the context of theoretical concepts, the influence of technology may be understood based on the comparative cost theory, economies of scale, competition through trade, and diversification as well as stability concept. These theories highlight the significance of adapting technology in the execution of various business operations in the global market (Shenkar, Luo, & Chi, 2014).

Technology is an integral communication and marketing tool that facilitated easy access to information and encourage creativity as well as innovation.
Implications and Consequences
Technology has provided flexibility, efficiency and effectiveness to businesses operating in the international market by influencing their communication, marketing, decision-making process, authority mechanism, and control, as well as logistics. The information technology used in different levels is viewed as a strategic tool for the global business world. Technology has reinforced the value chain between providers, businesses, and customers. Also, it contributes to the overall business operations and functions, including logistic, marketing, human resource management, buying, selling and offering service. Technology has eliminated commercial barriers that hindered free communication and marketing. Point of View
I believe that technology has a profoundly transformed the modern global business environment and economy. It has reshaped the way businesses produce, distribute and market their goods as well as services with the transformative influence on the consumer preferences and needs. I view technology as an integral element of the modern global business operations, accelerating economic activity, enhancing the productivity, promoting interdependence between businesses and facilitating the development of new technologies. It is apparent that business technology helps international businesses to enhance their communication processes. These businesses can use websites, texting, Emails and personal digital products applications to promote their products or services and communicate with consumers. However, technology tends to create new business risks. Based on the assessment of the contribution of technology in the global business environment, I can conclude that it poses risks of security, competition, dependency, online fraud, infringement of human rights, and other challenges.
