Federal Administrative Agency
Primary concerns the powers & procedures of Federal administrating agencies in relation to the public (llsdc.org, ¶ 1).
Congress grants specific power to federal agencies by enabling legislation for fair &orderly administration (llsdc.org, ¶ 1).
Administrative agencies are sects of experts which create and enforce rules and regulations in respective subject areas delegated by Congress. According to Archives.gov, Article 1, Section 1 of the federal constitution states, “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of Senate and House of Representatives” (Archives.gov). Congress, therefore, has the power to make all Laws and rules and regulations by administrative agencies that can be enforced as law. Three of which will be discussed in this presentation are OSHA, National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and ________. The roles, functions, significance and how each of these create compliance requirement for business will be described.
