Assignment Information:

· Choose five of the classification systems listed above and prepare a comparison table of the five systems with one of the classification system being SNOMED-CT (five total with SNOMED-CT and four others).

· Include the following information:

· Name of Classification System

· A short description of the setting and what the classification is used for

· Any unique circumstances or major differences as compared to the other classification systems

· An example code along with description

· An example table is illustrated below.

· Provide a narrative to accompany your table to supplement the information you have provided in your table on the five classification systems.

Requirements

· If table is developed in Excel or PowerPoint, copy and paste into your Word document. Submit the completed table and narrative to the Unit 10 Dropbox.

· As a reminder, you may review the following web sites and articles on the various classification systems in addition to reviewing the information previously provided on DSM-VI-TR in Unit 8. This is just a starting point – there are many other resources out there.
