Welcome double-o-AMT: We have a serious problem that only you can solve. We have got to get Bob back flying in the skies. He has a Reciprocating Engine Problem. You will be required to work with your team to troubleshoot his engine problem and provide a solution in order to get his aircraft back in the skies.
Mission:

Bob owns a single engine airplane with a Lycoming engine. Bob has a problem with the engine running rough at idle. The engine had been operating properly for the past 50 hours. However, when Bob started the engine for a flight, it started running rough at idle.

Instructions
Team members will explain how they will begin the trouble shooting process and the resources they will use to determine the cause of the problem. Then as a group, write a report as though you are providing information for a new mechanic to go and troubleshoot the problem.
The following criteria must be met:
State the necessary resources required to determine the cause of the problem.
Explain how one would begin the troubleshooting process.
