League of Conversation Voters

· The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) is an American liberal political organization that assists political runners who support the environment.

· LCV states that its supporters for sound environmental laws and policies, holds elected officials responsible for their votes and actions, and picks pro-environment runners.

· The organization completes its goals through voter education, voter support, and direct donations to political candidates. LCV includes 30 state partners.

· LCV was founded in 1969 by environmenta-list David Brower. The group's president is Gene K. Its main office is in Washington, D.C.

Shell Oil Company

· Shell Oil Company is the United States based sister company of Royal Dutch Shell.

· Shell Oil Company is international "oil major" of Anglo-Dutch roots, which is the largest oil companies in the world.

· Around 22,000 Shell workers are in the U.S

· The U.S. head office is in Houston, Texas

· Shell Oil Company, including its sister companies and its share in equity companies, is one of America's largest oil and natural gas producers, natural gas sellers, gasoline marketers and petro-chemical makers.

· Shell is the market leader through about 25,000 Shell-branded gas stations in the U.S. which also serve as Shell's most visible public company.

· Shell Oil Company is a 50/50 partner with the Saudi Arabian government-owned oil company Saudi Aramco in Motiva Enterprises, a re-fining and marketing joint project which owns and operates three oil refiner-ies on the Gulf Coast of the United States.

Edison Electric Company

· The Edison Electric Institute is the organization that represents all U.S. investor-owned electric companies.

· Its members provide electricity for 220 million Americans, operate in 50 states and the District of Columbia, and directly employ more than 500,000 workers.

· EEI has 70 international electric companies as Partner Members, and 250 industry providers and related organizations as Sub Members.

· Organized in 1933, EEI provides public policy leadership, planned business intelligence, and needed meetings and forums.
