Title of the Essay
Writing of any kind is never easy for the writer. According to William Zinsser, “Good writing doesn't come naturally, though most people obviously think it does” (12). Writing is not as easy as some people think (Zinsser 12). Kurtis Alexander mentions that forecasters believe that the warm weather will not last (para. 3). The weather in “San Francisco soared to a whopping 77 degrees” on Monday, February 15 (Alexander para. 2). According to Jennifer Lee’s research, many teachers now notice that their students cannot produce academic writing. They use shortcuts and emojis as they would in a text message. However, Thomas M. Terry feels that technology can be very helpful to students. He states that he uses technology to provide his students with notes and the class lecture (733).
