Listen to one (1) composition (i.e., for a symphony) by Beethoven, a transitional figure between classical and romantic music. Identify the composition that you listened to, and determine whether you would characterize the chosen composition as either the Classical or Romantic style of music. Explain the key features that lead you to your conclusion. Briefly, identify one (1) modern musician who you believe was great at one type of music yet pioneered another.
I listened to Beethoven’s Symphony but I’m not into classical music and I can’t read music or play any instruments, but when I listen to Beethoven’s Symphony, I found it to be classical yet romantic. I found two characteristics while listening, like the frequent changes in the beat that are typically found in Romantic music as well as Classical music which is homophonic. I enjoyed the gentle and soft sounds of the instruments. It gave me a peaceful feeling listening to the soft violins that played a smooth rhythm and at the same time giving you the stomping sounds of drums that added to the beat. Then the music would speed up to give me a different volume by adding some romantic emotion. Toward the end of the song, it made me feel so relax and I know from now on I will listen to more classical music because of how it made me feel.
I thought of Taylor Swift as a modern musician who is great at more than one type of music. When she started her career she started as a country singer and now her music contains pop, pop rock and country. Her voice is sweet yet soft.
Select one (1) example of a literary work or a work of visual art from the 1800s—either Romantic or Realist in style—that responds in some way to the Industrial Revolution. Identify the work and the artist or writer, describe its features and style, and explain the manner in which it responds to the Industrial Revolution. Identify one (1) specific literary or artistic work of our day that effectively protests a social injustice.
One literary artist from the Industrial Revolution is Charles Dickens. He wrote several realist pieces during this time period. One of them being “Hard Times”, a work in which he mocks industrialists that create wealth for the upper class at the expense of the working class. I think there are many literary artists that follow this approach today. With numerous outlets for literary work today, and then those works going directly to television, I think we are bombarded with realist views of today’s society, and they don’t all come in novel form. There are big “whistle blowers” out there now, one group known as Anonymous, who write to expose the upper class and their wrong doings. Martin Luther King wrote a speech responding to racial injustice that is still heard fifty years later because it is still relevant to our society today. On a lighter note, the writers for Saturday Night Live come to mind. They are constantly responding to our social issues both romantically and realistically, especially when it comes to politics. I am grateful for, and appreciate the writers that romanticize our world, for they make reading enjoyable for me, but I am also grateful for the many writers today who address the real and harsh issues, for we need these people to play that part, the devil’s advocate, to help keep us “real” and hold us accountable.

Typically, many people became homeless because of the 2008 and 2009 economic recession, and their health were affected making large number of Americans lost their health insurance. When economy is going through a recession, the purchasing powers of people are reduced, and people with low incomes generally lack resources to have access to good nutrition, and adequate housing. In the advanced countries, millions of people have access to the health insurance, which consequently enhance the health status of the residents. However, contrary is the case concerning the health status of people in developing countries. Political instability and high level of corruption have made millions of people in African countries to live in abject poverty. Typically, many people in Africa do not have access to quality healthcare, and lack of accessibility to good quality health generally leads to increase in mortality rates. In Angola, 102 infant mortality rates per 1000 children are recorded in the last 20 years; contrarily 3 mortality rates per 1000 births are recorded in Australia and Demark between 1995 and 2014.

By identifying the problems in a systematic way, the management will eliminate the problems and maintaining high quality care and reduce costs of operations.
The market opportunities are the major factors that will make the clinic to offer in-house services. In the United States, large number of patients prefers in-house service to outpatient service because they believe that healthcare institutions will be able to offer high quality healthcare using the in-house service than outpatient’s services. However, the clinic should have adequate facilities at its disposals when offering the in-house service, which will assist in offering high quality healthcare delivery. · To record 60% revenue increase within 3 years.
· To increase the number of repeat customers by 75%.
· To record 45% rate of new customer.
However, different strategies are to be implemented to determine whether the organization meets its target goals.
First, the organization should use both quantitative and qualitative methods to determine whether the clinic meets its goals. The management should sample the opinion of the patients, and the feedback collected will assist in determining the performances of the clinic. The paper suggests using structured interview to collect the patients’ feedbacks using the systematic sampling to collect data from all age group, sex, and ethnicities. The strategy will assist the clinic to collect performance evaluation feedback from all the population segments, which will assist the clinic to determine the extent the organization has performed so far.
Moreover, the organization should use the sales data to measure its performances. For example, the clinic should compare sales data of the previous years to the sales data of the current year for the performances measurements. If the current year sales data is higher than the previous year data, it shows that the clinic is performing better. The revenue and net income of the previous years and present year will also be used for the performance measurements. There will also be a comparative analysis of the data of the previous years and the present year to ascertain whether the clinic is improving or not.
5. Opportunities for Improvement
In the contemporary health environment, healthcare institutions are implementing different strategies to cut costs of operations, and provide high quality healthcare system. Method the management of the clinic should employ for the improvement is to carry out training and development for the physicians in order to reduce medial errors. Typically, medical error is one of the issues that can reduce the quality of healthcare delivery. The paper provides different strategies that the clinic should employ in enhancing healthcare improvement:
First, the management should participate in the Medicaid and Medicare programs. The Medicaid program is a healthcare insurance program for low-income people, and Medicaid is one of the large sources of income for healthcare organizations in the United States. (Altman, Frist, 2015). Since the state and federal governments jointly sponsor the Medicaid, the clinic will have access to frequently source of income, which will make the organization to improve its sales and revenue at the end of the fiscal year. At present, more than 40 million Americans have access to Medicare and several millions of Americans qualify for Medicaid. By participating in the Medicaid and Medicare, the clinic will have enough income to provide more training and development for physicians, which will consequently improve the quality of healthcare delivery for the clinic.
