Project Overview -
Students will work in groups up to 2 to select a local recreation providing agency to review their risk management plan as well as assess the agency using what they have learned in class. This project should be an exciting project and will follow Peterson, Hronek, Garges Risk Management Plan Steps in Chapter 5 (p.43-58).

Each step will be its own individual section within the risk management plan. Each section will be represented by documentation and policy guidelines. This project is meant to introduce you to the process of risk management planning as well as to meet local professionals doing this daily.
This is an experiential project and will be mostly self guided. I am here for guidance and will offer assistance through course discussions and office hour meetings.
