Peer Evaluation Checklist for the International Relations Blogging Assignment
Since blogging is, by its very nature, a form of writing for and interacting with an audience, it will be helpful to you as bloggers to receive feedback from your peers. After the first 3 blog assignments, each student in this course will evaluate a fellow student’s blog. I encourage you to be thoughtful, respectful and constructive in your comments. Please use this checklist to assist you in evaluating your fellow classmate’s blog.
· Did your classmate choose a blog topic that is appropriate to the course and the blogging assignment, as you understand it? Please explain:
· Is your classmate’s blog easy to navigate? Please describe:
· Did your classmate use graphics that are visually relevant to their blog topic? Please describe:
· Did your classmate rely on multiple sources to support the ideas and information in their blog? If so, was it clear to you when material was from these sources, and when it was your classmate’s original thinking? Were the sources reputable? Please explain:
· Did you find your classmate’s blog interesting? Did it leave you with more questions? Did you learn something new? Please explain:
· Was the writing and grammar clear enough that you were able to read and understand the meaning? Did you feel confused about any thing? Please explain:
