Advertisements use different ways to grab people’s attention in order to buy the

product. I choose three different products (Pepsi, Nike and Apple watch). These

three different products advertised in order to get as many customers as they could

to their business. Advertising can be really careful and focused to play with peoples

mind using logical fallacies changing their mind no matter how good or bad is the

product and how expensive or cheap.

Pepsi advertisement used a famous celebrity (Beyoncé) to advertise the product. A

famous celebrity can help the product to spread easily around the social media and

the television but that is faulty use of authority when Pepsi uses Beyoncé to

advertise for the drink while Nike used hasty generalization in the advertisement to

touch people’s feelings in order to buy the product. Apple watch advertisement

using false analogy to advertise for the product to grab people’s attention.

All three brands used a visual image of the product edited in a good way in the

advertisement. None of the advertisements had the price of the product. Little

details were given in the advertisement about the product.

Apple watch advertisement explaining that you need to get the product to make

your life easier. Pepsi advertisement telling Beyoncé’s fans that you have to drink

Pepsi. Nike advertisement trying to tell us that the product makes you something.

Apple watch and Nike advertisement convincing us that you necessary need the

product while Pepsi telling us that you want the product.

Overall, all three advertisements have a good technique with different logical

fallacies that they use to grab attention for the product however many logical

fallacies can be used in one advertisement in order for the product to spread.
