ssignment Objective: Analyze the information obtained from the interviewee for a deeper understanding of how the interview can impact the main argument of the paper.

To ensure that you have conducted an interview and have considered how you can incorporate this information into the research paper, you will write a summary of the information gathered in the expert interview.  Do not use personal pronouns in the summary and limit yourself to one "to be" verb per paragraph.

• Paragraph 1: 

  • Interviewee name, company, title, credentials, etc. 

  • Reason for choosing this person for the interview

  • Format of interview, reason for format

  • General background of interview/interviewee

• Paragraph 2:

  • Information gained from the interview

  • Analysis of the information gained from the interview

  • Use APA parenthetical citation for the personal interview as necessary

• Paragraph 3:

  • Analyze how the information in the interview can impact the research paper

  • Use APA parenthetical citation for the personal interview as necessary

Assignment Criteria:

• Interviewee must be an expert in the field and not a relative

• Write cohesive succinct paragraphs (1 paragraph = 5-8 sentences) addressing the information outlined above (do not make a list of the questions & answers)

• Do not use personal pronouns (I, he/she, us, they, we, etc) - Use Mr. Kuznicki or Ms. Elias (decreased points for use of personal pronouns)

• Limit yourself to one "to be" verb per paragraph (decreased points for overuse of "to be" verbs)
