Assignment: Deliver the Value: IKEA Case Study (in Doc Sharing)

Please review the case study document in Doc Sharing and complete the instructions

Week FIVE also finds you preparing a PowerPoint presentation for your IKEA assignment that is due Sunday, April 3rd.  Three documents in DOC SHARING are there to help you - one is the "Week FIVE -- Bob's Writing Tips" that helps you to "ace" this assignment.  The other two documents are important as they walk you though examples of what makes for a good PowerPoint presentation.  As part of your evaluation for the IKEA assignment is to capitalize on the instructor documents, please ensure that your PowerPoint slides capitalize on that which is asked of you, e.g., two different fonts, two colors, no "widows," a demonstration of "parallelism," and good notes below each slide that allow you to "talk to" the bullets on the slide. Although not every instructor with whom you interact will provide you insight on your writing, I've always felt that to NOT provide such insight communicates an unsaid message, i.e., "that writing at a less than effective levels is okay." It was very apparent that several class members would benefit by an investment in their writing. Glad to help! To those who are serious about doing this, please allow me to invite you to the Purdue University Online Writing Laboratory.  You can find this at  http://owl.english.purdue.edu  This is a wonderful site that your instructor uses whenever he is unsure of a grammar/writing/spelling question -- if he can make the time to use it to clarify something, so can his graduate adult learners! :) We can ALL be better writers. Thus, please reflect on that which I have suggested -- again, the "MKTG522 Writing Tips for Success!" should also be helpful -- it's in DOC SHARING.
