The Regional Leadership Institute focuses on the essential skills that novice and expert leaders need to successfully manage and lead an organization to advance its mission. This year’s program will focus on leadership development, building a high-achieving team and com- munication across generations. The Leadership Institute is open to all chapter members, officers, leaders and potential future leaders; there is no limit to the number of chapter members who may attend for $50.00 each. We highly recommend the program for chapter and sub-chapter's president and president-elect. The chapter and sub-chapter’s president and president-elect will receive free registration. Objectives

At the end of the program, the participants will have the opportuni- ty to:  Engage in a conversation with national leaders about their ca-

reer path and the leadership lessons they learned along the way;

 Identify strategies to build a high-achieving team; and  Discuss communication in a mutigenerational environment. CEU Information

and the role of supportive care in Survivorship.  Apply Storytelling in nursing practices as a form of empower-

 Understand the Transgender population and identify their healthcare issues.

 Learn sustainable changes in behavior patterns and mindset in responding to stress.

 Recognize the need for civilian trauma centers using high fidelity simulation to educate both civilian and military healthcare per- sonnel on battlefield medicine.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be made in writing. A $50.00 processing charge will apply to all cancellations. No refunds will be made on cancellations postmarked after March 31, 2016. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Substitution is permitted with written consent from the registrant.
