(Individual Written Report) Purpose of Assignment • Students will write a Three-to-four page report on what they have learned

about “Themselves” as a result of having read the HBR Articles: Managing Oneself by Peter Drucker and studying the Nine Intelligences by Dr. Howard Gardner and reading the article What Makes a Leader/Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Goleman. Do not write about the articles and the nine intelligences. Write about yourself tell me if you learn by reading, writing, speaking, listening, watching, doing. What are your strong intelligences, what are your weak intelligences and what are your emotional intelligences

• This assignment will help students or “One” to understand “Oneself” in the context of “Ones” unique personal leadership and management style.

Objectives • To help students identify the many aspects of leadership and management

from the perspective of “Oneself.” • To expose students to common personality and learning theories • To help students understand key personality concepts involved in leading,

managing, and mentoring.

Instructional Media: Tools and Resources • Students will use the BlackBoard technology for submitting their work. Requirements 1. Individual report 2. The report must use your own language. You are not permitted to cut and

paste any sentences from the article.

3. The report must: • have a cover page • use Times New Romans or Arial, font size: 12 • have a space of 1.5 between lines • be 2 full pages of text in length • start each paragraph with a topic sentence • full sentences (and no bullet points)
