2. Write a two-paragraph reflection about what you’ve learned about the culture of the community and the school.

Community and school are other families. According to some studies, both the teachers and the students are better motivated in a stronger school culture. The implementation of a clear mission statement, shared vision, and schoolwide goals promote increased bother the students and the teachers’ achievement. What’s more, by deepening understand of school culture, leaders can be better equipped to shape the values, beliefs, and attitudes necessary to promote a stable and nurturing learning environment. We can see that school culture is very important. But, what is school culture, anyway? Opinions vary on this matter. E. Deal and Kent D. Peterson noted that “culture includes deep patterns of values, beliefs, and traditions that have been formed over the course the school’s history. “ Paul E. Heckman’s defined “School culture lies in the commonly held beliefs of teachers, students, and principals.” As for me, I think that school culture should contain the beliefs of present teachers, students and principal, but also the history of the school.

2.1 United and friendly community culture The layout of

The dispersion and small settlement" has cultivated strong relative sense of Nationality. No matter where and when it is, people can find the sense of family quickly from warm- hearted language of a soulful song of community. Nationality is a friendly nationality. people often say water from afar wouldn’t help quench a fire nearby and a distant relative is not as good as a near neighbor. When interacting with people nearby, people are gentle, kind and ready to help others. Nationalities have made profound friendship. They learn strong points from the other to offset weakness, mutually integrate and step forward altogether. A proverb of a neighbor has said:”we are all in one family and then yellow soil will change into gold".

Retirement living supported by community sports culture enables the elderly to master some sports knowledge and skills which are unreachable for them due to their routine busyness, thus enriching their cultural entertainment life; it also enables the elderly to exhale carbon dioxide out of and breath some fresh air into their spiritual world, and to enjoy emotional nourishment brought by interpersonal communication in their sports cultural life. In the authors’ opinion, ways to realize the manner of retirement living supported by community sports culture include the followings: 1)the government and various social organizations should increase their inputs in terms of policy support and funds for community elderly sports cultural construction; 2)communities themselves should boost the perfection of networks supporting retirement living supported by community sports culture by basing the carrier on various community cultural sports service resources. In terms of community sports cultural service subject, we should change the elderly’s retirement living conception, and gradually realize the goal for them to have a happy retirement life. Moreover, workers who provide the elderly with the service of retirement living supported by sports culture should enhance their own quality, exert their guiding and promoting role, and boost the actual implementation of retirement living supported by community sports culture.

3. Reflect on the findings from the school website in a two-paragraph statement.

On the school website,Firstly, the quality of the food is bad. For instance, the rice is too hard. What's more, some dishes are not fresh sometimes. As a matter of fact, the poor food has already caused some stomach problems among the students.

Nowadays a lot of schools keep their students in school all day long. We have different ideas about that. Now let me tell you our opinions.

Some of us hold the idea that if the school keep us all day long ,our freedom will be limited. Moreover, we may lose a lot of social opportunities. Besides, we can't develop our interests and hobbies well.

One coin has two sides, some students think that school is a space to learn the knowledge, the only thing we should do is staying there to study. What's more, because we lack self-awareness, without the guide of teachers, we may make mistakes.

In my view, it would be better that school don't keep us in school all day long. After all ,textbook knowledge is not the only thing we should learn.

4. Identify the demographics of your classroom and write a two-paragraph reflection on the ways the demographics of the school are reflected in your classroom.

In this class and grade, has the sincere friendship, has clear showing loving concern, has the guidance earnestly ......I love my class, because that is “the paradise which loves”. here, not only has our common friendship, but also has our teacher to excite the emotions. In teacher's eye we are not only he (she) student, he (she) the friend, in our student's eye, is also so. In our class is the teachers and students, under the class is the friend. in this harmonious big family, has compared to a dear ones thicker sentiment, has compared to dear ones more loves. In here, not lonely, not sad, has not felt inferior, only then happy, happy, happy ......Because everybody are offering, is showing loving concern 。

What’s more, by deepening understand of school culture, leaders can be better equipped to shape the values, beliefs, and attitudes necessary to promote a stable and nurturing learning environment.

D. Students will identify the level of involvement of parents in the school.

1. Write a two-paragraph reflection on your impression of the involvement and interest of parents in the parent-based meeting you attended.

Learning Together was developed by Johnson and Johnson in 1975 and then was widely used. The typical description of the method was that students worked as a group to complete a single group task, share ideas and materials, and help each other before presenting the questions to the teacher. All members should get involved and understand group answers. In the end, teacher praises and rewards the group based on the group performance.

2. Write a two-paragraph reflection based on a conversation with your cooperating teacher about parental involvement in your classroom. Include ways that your cooperating teacher invites and includes parents in learning activities. Describe any differences for parents of English speaking students and English learners.

In my classroom, the parents of English speaking students communicate with teacher more than English learners. or some teachers have noticed that but do not know how to teach this ability in their classes properly and effectively. The same situation can be found in junior school English classes. The traditional teaching approaches are still extensively used by many junior school English teachers in a pure way. The teacher-centered approaches go against the current teaching conception that students should become the center of classroom activities. Such teachers solely input knowledge into their students by consuming most of the class time, while the students can only acquire knowledge passively. Given that the total academic hours are limited, students can have access to very little amount of time to practice and communicate both with their classmates and teachers. Through investigation and search for the major institutions of the network, found that the current in the country Private parent-child educational institutions, private way parental involvement activities, parenting education institutions generally have a variety of courses, large
