What type of work and/or writing you did in Mechanical Engineering classes?

From the field’s name, Mechanical Engineering, we work and write about designing, construction, and efficiently using machines. Our classes might differ in subjects but they all fall under any of those three categories. For instance, in Solid Modelling class, we learn how to operate and wok with a program that allows you to design your “mechanical engineering” work.

What are you planning to do after you graduate, and what kind of job will you be working with?

What I love about mechanical engineering is that there is literally no limit to what an individual can do. A mechanical engineer could be working a simple job at a refinery or they could be working on the most complex machines that lead the world. As for myself, I don’t have a discrete decision yet, but I want to work somewhere where I can change and to contribute to the world as mechanical engineer.

What was the hardest writing assignment did you work on? What part specifically ?

It was a paper about a case in one of my English classes. Our instructor made it af it was real, so you had to do so much paper work. The hardest part was is that he made it as if it was a reall official case, so you had to do everything perfectly.

What latest thing have you learned in this major?

I have recently learned how to I set objects to be equilibrium in the air by calculating the forces acting on them , and it’s really interesting when you think about it! You can object staying in the air forever if you had proper calculations set.

What are the tough classes you took and why?

There are many tough engineering classes. One class that was tough on me was Engineering Statics, but after really knowing what the class is about and why do we need to know what we need to know in this particular class, it became more interesting because it all sums up towards wanting to be a successful mechanical engineer, and this is the reason we take tough classes in engineering .

Would you continue on and go for Master’s or PhD in this major? Why?

That’s what I am planning to do. I want to receive a PhD degree in this major. The real reason behind this, is that I just want to seek more and more of this major because , despite the fact that is a tough major, I like it !

Your Opinion about the major?

I really like this major, and would advise anyone who is looking for limitless creativity and challenges along the way to adopt this major.
