Comm PlanW2
Greetings All
As I think about putting ink to paper in developing my firm’s new marketing communication plan for the restaurant, my initial thoughts are to ask myself why would consumers visit our restaurant and purchase our foods and products. I would then segment the market/area. Performing the required Market Research. I then would look at two critical components of these tasks. The first being the demographics to aid in analyzing our perspective consumers. This would render a view of the possible consumers by age, gender education, and status just to name a few.
The second critical component to this process is to look at the psychographics in the market place. This will allows us to understand our potential consumers behaviors and lifestyles, values’ as well as their attitudes. Together will aid us in targeting our audience and to allow us to focus in on our market place. When we combine the two ingredients; the results of the demographics and psychographics will help create our marketing communication plan, guiding us on how we need to reach out to our now targeted audience. Which will save us dollars in the long haul. This is so important, really essential in creating the marketing communication plan. With out understanding our consumers and how to reach our potential consumers will certainly hinder the overall success of our restaurant. We wouldn’t hold an understanding where the population would be that would enjoy our types of foods and services. By missing your audience means no consumers.
