Assignment Instructions

You will choose one of the two question below to answer for this final exam.  Your answers will span the time line, from the beginning of this course to the 1877. This is the time period you will stay in, do not stray from this time period.

Your directions are below:

You will answer the question you chose completely using the text as your guide and outside sources.

You will make sure you reference any material you take from any source you use.

You will have at least two sources. One will be your textbook.

You paper, final, will be 3 pages in length no more than 4, excluding cover page and bibliography page.

You need a cover page and bibliography page.

You need to make sure you give examples, writing vaguely will result in deductions in your grade.

Font will be Times New Roman 12 or Arial 10.

Line spacing is 2.

Spelling and grammar do count.

You will write your paper in a word document and attach it. Any final in the box will result in not following the directions and will have an automatic 11 point deduction.

The questions are as follows:

Question A

Native Americans have suffered greatly at the hands of explorers. This question will deal with the following:

You will discuss how Europeans, then Colonists and finally, Americans effect the Native Americans.

Question B:

In this question you are to do the following:

You will discuss the economy. Your question will deal with the economic livelihood of colonial America to the end of the Civil War. So you will be discussing the issues of economy touching upon – colonial economy, economy of the North and the South, economy after the Civil War.
