Adolescence
Every child wants to grow and want to try everything in the life. the kids try to do the things that they cannot do even but they are always willing to take the advantage of the time and want sometime new every time. But the growth process is slow and takes time. But when the children reach at the age 11-13 then they start noticing the physical changes in the body. Girls face the puberty whereas the boys start feeling the changes in their body as well as feel attraction for the opposite sex. However these changes sometimes irritates them and sometimes they behave weirdly.
Emotional issues
The children in this age want someone closers to share these changes they face in the growing age. Sometimes the parents only notice the change in behavior and do not understand why the children are behaving differently. The boys sometimes behave aggressively and sometimes they start hiding the issues from the parents. In contrast, girls behave differently such as they become shy and sometimes they do not like talking to any one and irritate with the minor things. If the children do not find anyone trustworthy at home they try to open up in front of friends and sometimes friends also do not understand. In case where the parents do not guide the children they can move towards the wrong direction and can be exploited by the child abusers and the other humans of the society. Behaving like a friend with the children can also work best to satisfy them emotionally and to keep them calm (Steinberg, 2010).
Social and Environmental Issues
Different people live in the different environment and share the different beliefs and societies. In the age of adolescence the social behaviors and the society trends and culture may disturb the children to higher extent. Some western countries have very advance culture and such culture may depress the child as sometimes they child feels these changes as weird and could not accept the realities of his society. In such situations the parents must consider such issues and also must change their behavior towards child. If the parents will not show the concern in this age then the child may become aggressive and weird over the time and later if would be tough to handle him (American Academy of Pediatrics, 2016).
Sometimes the child sees the others and set physical standards to achieve as in schools mostly the fat and healthy children suffer criticism of the friends. Such things in the early stages cause depression, anxiety and many other issues. Such issues can leads towards the severe problems as mostly adults have the anxiety disorder and depression in the United States. To overcome such issues there must be someone in their life to motivate them and to develop the sense of positive thinking. Mostly the parents are considered to play this role and they can play such role in a very best way as they know their child more than anyone and can make the child feel that how much they care.
Conclusion
In the age of the adolescence the emotional care and the physical care both are necessary. The care demanded by the child in this age must be given to him and parents must know that they are the only one who can help in this age and they should guide their children time to time to make them a better person. Awareness programs in the schools can also be arranged for the children as these programs play very important role to keep the children emotionally strong and alert for the expected changes.
