Business Research Project Part 1
The Golden Core, LLC has been around since April 1, 1976. This is a modern technology company that was made to fit every person’s dreams. The company manufactures phones, tablets, computers, and portable media players. This company was designed to showcase the best products, compared to any other company in its category. The Golden Core, LLC had a drop in the stock market, prior to the year, 1978. However, after 1978, there was a sales increase of $7.8 million (Terrell, 2008). In the passage, the following will be mentioned; identifying independent and dependent variables; execute a research question and develop a hypothesis, based on both variables; the business problem and team’s role.
Independent Variables
An independent variable is a type of variable that stands alone. For example, the age of a product. No matter how many software updates that product receives, the age will remain the same. Everything The Golden Core, LLC produces, is a significant, independent variable that can affect sales revenue. It is extremely essential to make sure the products cater to the customers’ needs, desires, and demographics. There are a variety of competitors with similar products, so identifying the consumer’s critical needs could also have an effect on the company’s dependent variables (Chen, 2014).
Dependent Variables
A dependent variable depends on other factors. For example, a product review is a dependent that can be changed, based on a consumer’s needs. The lack of lack of advertising will affect sales revenue for the company’s products. For years, the company has been recognized throughout the industry as an advertising and marketing leader. However, competitors are gaining momentum. Android device makers are spending large amounts of money on advertising, with the focus on carrier channeling, to gain market share. Carrier channel refers to “the incentives some device-makers give to carriers for pushing their devices onto customers” (Russell, 2014).
Products and Advertising
Hypothetically, for a company to remain successful in the technology industry, the products being produced, needs to remain innovative and meet the changing demands of consumers. The Golden Core, LLC, has been manufacturing products, longer than other competitors. For example, the smartphones has a larger screen size and less restrictions for application downloads. Another factor is advertisement. Since the 1980’s, The Golden Core, LLC has advertised their products, in a very unique way, by targeting actual manufacturers, by their name. How can The Golden Core, LLC continue to remain effective, in regards to product quality, innovation, and competitive advertisement?
The Business Plan
The main business plan with The Golden Core, LLC is its product diversity that is critical for its innovation, and is also essential for their growth and development in the near future. With the various diversified technologies incorporated by the company, the risk of failure and low profitability also follows. The company must focus on vast underlying problems that offers new prospects, and creates future employee generation (Statista, 2015).
The Team’s Role
The team’s role consists of the emerging technological knowledge, and effective customer service. The Golden Core, LLC professionals should possess aspirations, in advancing towards the technological industry. Employees should be able to identify the primary target market and the user’s suitability. The team’s role must have a sense of reliability that will help in attaining a large number of customers.
Conclusion
The Golden Core has established themselves as a technological innovator. The company is a variant type of organization that has the abilities and opportunities of creating the finest products. The company has been embodying both style and technology, for the present day professional youths, with its cutting edge design and features that has got superior technological connectivity (Apple Inc, 2016). In the passage, the following were mentioned; identifying independent and dependent variables; execute a research question and develop a hypothesis, based on both variables; the business problem and team’s role.
