Coordinates and schedules training for Veterinary Services section. Coordinates inspections on government contracts valued at $419,450. Manages inspection program and prepares reports for Defense Logistics Agency. Provides quality assurance functions for Operational, Humanitarian, and Unitized Group Rations. Conducts receipt inspection of FF&V airlift shipments. Conducts Installation Food Vulnerability Assessments on all food facilities located on Soto Cano Air Base. Assists Food Safety Officers with Commercial Sanitary Audits throughout South America.

Cross trained 68R Soldiers on 68T tasks in order to operate weekend clinics. Coordinated and trained Soldiers for Ship-rider missions. Conducted force protection food security inspections on two installations with 110 facilities and two Food Delivery Control Points. Accumulated over 200 volunteer hours by providing support to Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army, Battleship North Carolina Museum, and Possum Wood Acres Wildlife Refuge. Contributed immensely to Camp Lejeune Branch winning the FY13 Public Health Command’s Above and Beyond Award and the Army’s Superior Unit Award. Served as Branch DTMS Manager. Coordinated and scheduled training for all soldiers and civilians within Camp Lejeune Branch.

Served as a Veterinary Food Inspection Specialist. Coordinated and performed surveillance and receipt inspections for all establishments on Naval Base Guam. Inspected Operational Rations for multiple units. Conducted receipt inspection of FF&V airlift shipments, inspected operational rations including UGR-As while working in a Joint environment with elements of Air Force Public Health and Navy Preventive Medicine Responded to ALFOODACT messages accurately and in a timely manner. Conducted 32 refrigeration failure inspections. Trained 15 Airmen from United States Air Force 36 Medical Operations Squadron on lab sample submission and how to use a Novalum. Won first Soldier of the Quarter Board and Soldier of the Year in 2010 for PHCD Western Pacific. Selected to serve as District’s Human Resources Assistant. Processed personnel action reports, pay inquiries, and leaves and passes. Assisted Soldiers in completing official travel orders and vouchers. Compiled and forwarded detailed theater travel reports and accountability rosters to Pacific Region Veterinary Command weekly. Served as District’s Operations NCO for 15 months. Coordinated and scheduled training for all soldiers throughout the largest area of responsibility in Public Health Command Region-Pacific.

Production Worker Worked on third shift sanitation crew. Cleaned and Smithfield Packing Co Inc. sanitized large food processing equipment. Assembled Tar Heel, NC and disassembled equipment in preparation for USDA 28372 inspections.
