Step 1-Ask question: Ask any one question you are curious about. For example, why is this scenario occurring? Or, how can I stop or fix this scenario?
Step 2-Do background research: Research what might cause this scenario or a way to stop or fix this scenario.
Step 3-Construct hypothesis: State your one hypothesis.
Step 4-Test with an experiment: Describe your experiment.
Step 5-Analyze and report results: Describe your results and how you drew your conclusion.

Your problem must fall within one of the following three categories. Choose a problem and follow the steps in the scientific method to find a resolution.
a. A problem with an appliance at your home
b. A problem with an injured or sick pet, family member, or friend
c. A problem faced at your place of work or school

Step 4-Test with an experiment
Step 5-Analyze and report results
