Re: Car Sharing
Hi (your name here),
You’ll have seen in the newspapers that city council has passed the Car Sharing proposal. We need to move quickly to realize this exciting proposal. You and Ted will be working together on this one. Ted will be developing the organizational structure and operations plan for the pilot project while you will be developing the IT aspect. The specific outputs required from you are detailed in the COMP361 Assignment Overview.
Car sharing is an interesting solution to a number of urban planning problems, and clearly one that is effective considering its rapidly growing popularity. You should be familiar with the problems it is meant to address and the range of solutions that has been implemented across Europe and North America. The reports listed below are a good starting point for an exploration of the world of car sharing.
My assistant will in touch to set a time and place for our first full meeting of the project team. I look forward to working with you on this exciting project!
